All Energy Australia 2026 · MCEC Melbourne · 28–29 October

The jobs aren’t killing you. The paperwork is.

Quoting at the kitchen table at 9pm. Fifteen hours a week on invoices, rebate forms and chasing money — around $74,000 a year of your time, gone. It’s how businesses with full order books still go broke. Five days with us and you’ll know where every hour and dollar is leaking, what to fix first — and exactly what we won’t automate.

The number nobody has ever costed

How much does re-typing the same job detail cost you a year?

Two questions. The answer is yours, not mine — and it only counts the typing.

30

Count anything that gets a job number.

4

Design tool, proposal, CRM, scheduler, accounting, rebate portal, the whiteboard. Count them all.

Re-entry alone, every year
$6,900 – $13,800
Australian dollars · indicative · your figures

And that is only the typing. It does not count jobs that go out wrong because a detail was mistyped, and it does not count what the delay does to when you invoice. Both are almost certainly bigger. We won’t put a number on either from here.

Assumes two to four minutes per re-entry, 46 trading weeks, $50 an hour loaded. Same arithmetic as the card we hand out on the stand.

First, before anything else

The list of things we will not automate.

43% of Australian small businesses now use AI. Of the ones that don’t, around 65% say it’s because they don’t want a machine making the call. That is a completely reasonable position, so page one of every Margin Map is this list — written down, before anything else.

Stays human. Always.

Judgement calls about customers, licensed sign-off, safety, anything where wrong is expensive and cannot be undone, and anything already working.

  • Pricing judgement. What a job is worth is your call, not a model’s.
  • Apologies and difficult customers. A machine apology makes it worse.
  • Safety decisions. No exceptions, no clever exceptions.
  • Anything with a licensed sign-off. Your accreditation, your signature.
  • Anything already working. If it isn’t broken it isn’t on the list.

Fair game.

  • Typing the same thing twice. Or four times, which is the usual answer.
  • Chasing. Quotes that went quiet, invoices that went unpaid.
  • Assembling paperwork. Certificates, rebate evidence, warranty packs.
  • Answering at 7pm. So the enquiry is still there in the morning.
  • Telling the customer what’s happening. Before they ring to ask.

The Margin Map

Ninety minutes with you. Five days later you know exactly where your margin is going, what each leak costs, and what to fix in what order. It is paid, and the fee comes straight off the build if you go ahead.

  1. The Leave Alone list

What stays human, and why. Written first, handed to you first.

  2. Discovery session — 90 minutes

We walk a normal week, role by role. Remote or on the stand. Recorded with your consent. This is the only time it costs you.

  3. Workflow map

One page: how work actually moves from enquiry to paid invoice, with every handoff and every re-keying marked.

  4. Time-and-cost ledger

Every repetitive task quantified — frequency, minutes, people, loaded cost, annual cost. This is the document that changes minds.

  5. Ranked opportunity list

Eight to twelve opportunities scored on value, effort and risk. In order, not by whoever shouted loudest.

  6. 90-day roadmap

Three phases, costed, with expected returns. Written so it works as your internal business case without us in the room.

  7. Walkthrough — 45 minutes online, or 90 minutes on site for the Directors’ Edition

We present it and answer whatever you ask. No pitch attached.

As a founding client you also get the compliance one-pager, the Crew Note, the Open Spec for phase one, the Do-It-Yourself Three, and a direct line to our delivery lead for ninety days.

Directors’ Edition

For twenty-five or more, multi-site, or a board. Ten business days. Adds an hour with your leadership team, a board-ready financial model, a benchmark against our assessment dataset, and a ninety-minute on-site walkthrough with a board presentation.

Two things worth knowing

  • 100% of the fee comes off a build commissioned within 60 days (Operator) or 90 days (Directors’). Do the build and the Map cost you nothing.
  • Sixteen Maps before Christmas: twelve Operator, four Directors’. The seventeenth starts on 18 January at the same price, in writing. Every Map is delivered by our assessment lead from a written method and reviewed by Marianna Cheklin, who built the engine, before it goes out.

“If, when we hand you the Margin Map, you decide it was not worth the fee, tell us and we will refund it in full. You are the judge, not us.”

No thresholds, no targets we get to mark ourselves. A guarantee we grade poisons the trust it was meant to buy. You decide, and we wear it.

Offers two and three

What the Map usually leads to.

Both are fixed scope, fixed price, named stages. Neither starts before we’ve agreed in writing what “done” means.

Offer two

The First Response System

Every enquiry gets a real answer inside sixty seconds, day or night, and lands in your calendar as a booked job — while your crews stay on the roof.

  • Missed-call rescue: an unanswered call triggers a text with a booking link.
  • Sold-job triage: separates “where’s my install” from a new enquiry, and routes each differently.
  • Booking into the real job calendar, with travel time and crew availability respected.
  • Follow-up sequence for quotes that go quiet — the asset you’ll want when the rebate steps down.
  • AI disclosure, consent capture, opt-out and audit logging built in. Never an add-on, never charged extra.
$7,425Core · AUD inc-GST

Voice tier $10,725 inc-GST. Care plan $990 (Core) or $1,430 (Voice) a month inc-GST, no lock-in, thirty days’ notice.

The floor: if the system doesn’t answer 95% of enquiries inside sixty seconds in any month, that month’s care fee is waived. The dashboard that proves it is yours, not mine.

Offer three

The Quote-to-Cash Engine

One system from enquiry to money in the account. Measured on days-to-cash from week one, because that is the number that kills businesses in this industry.

  • Same-day quoting. Quote the job the day you see it, not the evening after.
  • Site data captured once, structured, into the job record instead of someone’s phone.
  • Digital acceptance, deposit request, automatic conversion to a scheduled job.
  • Completion reports, photos, sign-off and compliance records produced as a by-product of the work.
  • Invoice on completion, reminders, reconciliation handoff to your accounting system.
$21,450–35,750$7,150 per Stage · 3–5 named Stages · AUD inc-GST

40% on signature, 40% at midpoint acceptance, 20% on handover. Payments attach to written acceptance criteria, not to dates.

Sold on its own: the Rebate & Compliance Pack, $4,400–6,600 inc-GST. Evidence captured on site, claim paperwork assembled automatically, audit trail by default, and a mandatory human review before anything is lodged with a regulator.

So you know before you book

What we won’t take on.

We deliver all of this ourselves. That caps what we can commit to, so here is the refusal list before you spend half an hour on a call.

  • Enterprise deployments. Six to twelve months of procurement we can’t fund. We’ll introduce you to someone who works at that scale.
  • Free pilots. The Margin Map is the pilot. It’s paid, it’s five days, and the fee comes off the build.
  • 24/7 on-call cover. We can’t honour it. Next business day, and we’ll design the system so your existing provider can cover overnight.
  • Lead generation. You don’t have a leads problem right now. You have a throughput problem.
  • Anything that must be live before Christmas, sold after early December. We’d rather start the second week of January and do it properly — and we’ll hold today’s price.
  • Big data migrations. We’ll define what the system needs. Getting your data into that shape is separate work.
The bit most vendors can’t answer

Compliance is built in, and we don’t charge for it.

Your regulator, first

The Clean Energy Regulator suspended 21 companies from the SRES in the April–June 2026 quarter over fit-and-proper failures, alongside a crackdown on incomplete installations. NETCC obligations are under review. Everyone on that floor knows a business that lost its scheme status.

So: rebate claim evidence captured on site, audit trail by default, and a mandatory human review step before anything is lodged. That is a build rule, not a feature.

And if you sell offshore

Article 50 of the EU AI Act has applied since 2 August 2026 with no grace period — any voice agent or chatbot must disclose that it is AI, with penalties reaching €15 million or 3% of worldwide turnover. In the United States, the FCC confirmed in February 2024 that an AI-generated voice is an “artificial voice” under the TCPA, at US$500–1,500 per call with no cap.

Disclosure, consent capture, opt-out handling and audit logging ship with everything we build, configured for wherever your customers are. A system without them is a liability we’re not willing to hand you.

Before you ask

The ones that come up most.

Do I pay anything to book?

No. The thirty minutes costs you nothing and there is no card details field on this page. If we agree a package on the call, we email you a Stripe link afterwards and you pay when you’re ready. What we can’t do for free is tell you what will help you specifically — that needs your numbers, and it takes a day of our time. That’s the Margin Map.

We already know where the problems are.

Most people do. Almost nobody has costed them. The Map exists so you can put a number next to each one and decide in order, rather than by whoever shouted loudest that week.

That’s a lot for a document.

It would be, if it were a document. It’s five days inside your business and a costed build plan. And if you read it and decide it was not worth it, we refund it in full. You are the judge, not us. The fee also comes off any build, so if we do fix something, the Map was free.

We’re not ready for AI.

Good. Page one of the Map is the list of things we won’t automate. And in practice about half the findings are two systems that should be talking to each other and aren’t — which has nothing to do with AI.

Automation failed for us last time.

What was it meant to do? That’s usually the pattern — it went at the bit that needed a person. Pilots stall on integration and on nobody agreeing what success looked like, not on the technology.

We’re too busy right now.

That’s the reason to do it. Five business days, ninety minutes of yours. If you’re at capacity, the Map tells you which hours you get back first.

Can you do better on the price?

No, and we wouldn’t want to. Same number for everybody, and it’s published on this page so you can check. If the number’s too high for a build we’ll take a stage out — we discount scope, never price.

What happens over Christmas?

Australian trade businesses stop from about mid-December to late January, and so do we. We’ll say that at the point of sale rather than in December. Anything sold after early December starts in the second week of January, at the price we agreed.

I’m not in Australia.

Then you get the product demo, the price list in your currency, and a partner introduction for the hands-on build. A small team in a Melbourne timezone with a summer shutdown in the middle is not a commitment we can keep to a buyer in Munich or Houston, so we won’t make it.
